Now, consider they wanted the lift a 63-ton counterweight using The Cantilever Lifting Method to get the beams and rafters up to level 48. They would’ve been able to attach their ropes indirectly around the front of the counterweights on both sides. One on level 32 to the west and another on The Grand Gallery Counterweight Lift to the east. Then they would pull to the west effectively cutting the negative weight in The Grand Gallery by half. Half of 128.8% leaving 64.4% of the weight in the negative category and 71.2% in the positive category. That would make a difference of 6.8%. Multiply that by the original 64.5% of the weight in the negative weight category and you get 4.3% or 95.7% of the weight of the beams and rafters being lifted by counterweights and the indirect rope and pulley configuration due to the 63 counterweight on both the east, and west side of the counterweight.
This worked well when moving the beams and rafters to construction level four via The Grand Gallery Lift which used the opposite two level drop from storage level 32 back down to the ground level using the counterweight lift that was located on the west side of the tower. Then by using one of those blocks for the final step of moving the other counterweight block they had just moved up to level four all the way up to their final resting place above The Kings Burial Chamber. They did this by dropping the second counterweight block from level 48 back down to the lower level of The Grand Gallery using it's, "piggy back" counterweight slide to the east. Back down to level 32 where the block could once again be lifted upwards to level 48. They did this by using The Grand Gallery Counterweight Lift where they could be used again as a counterweight for moving the blocks above The King's Burial Chamber over and over.
